If you were looking for something a little bigger than an anole you could always go for a basalisk. A bit skitty to start with but handling will tame them down.

I'm actually considering a pair of frilled dragons.. but.... mmm... expensive!

The place local to me does them for £100 each.. Which is still a lot in my book!

Plus id have to get it kitted out with plants and hides and such... arrrghhh

How about a trio of Crested Geckos? Fantastic little creatures. Here is a care sheet so you can see their requirements:

They can be handled and are great to watch climbing and jumping around, right little characters
