Thanks for that, took the pic with with my phone, only picked them up this afternoon, so had been fed their daily live food... Can't wait till tomorrows feeding time, i feel like a kid at christmas

They are settling really well, running round the viv like nutters, bathing in their food even looks like they are watching tele, one of them is a the far left of the tank looking to the right, he's not moved for the last hour, he must like the film....

Glad your enjoying your beardies already.. It soon becomes addictive.

If your worried about the flakey skin give him a bath this will aid shedding. Although it is almost certainly going into shed but, dont worry if he doesn't shed all his body in one go they tend to shed in bits as they get older.

thanks liz, no worries on the bath front, they are taking it in turns to lie in their water dish, and then basking in their food dish?????????

Thinking of re-positioning their food dish, if its getting hot enough for the to bask on then the food isn't going to stay good

Plus the keep standing on their rear leg and pushing the bottom of their bodys on the glass, i'm finding this highly amusing, do you think they are just trying to soak up extra warmth from the basking side of the viv

They are very active even at this late hour, just running up and down the front of the glass

Yes get the food and water down the cool end of the viv. They should only have a very small (some would say no water dish) water dish btw.
