Bearded Dragon Set-up??

HEAT MATS should not be used with beardies as it can burn them. all of our beardies are under basking bulbs and are thiving. The key is getting the balance right between the heat and the uv, basically the bigger the viv, the higher the wattage for the basking bulb, for uv we use the exo terra reptiglo tube lights and our beardies seem to thrive on that.

Go for the Arcadia 12% tubes, they're the best UVB tubes on the market at the moment, the ZooMed ones are ok, the the ExoTerra ones are almost useless, the dragon needs to get within abut 1" to get any useful radiation from it. Check out Jim's UV experiment thread for more info on UVB -

I just googled it & it is showing the Arcadia D3 Reptile Tube 12%. Does this also produce the necessary UVA??
