They're so ACE! Loved my one, here's some tips for you
1) They live in cold water, mine used to live outide and survived a freeze so keep it cool and clean, depth has to be higher than the length of the axolotl
2) Water filter is necessary too, change the water 10% per week, then a full change every couple of months, just like you would with fish
3) They all eat different stuff, mine used to eat raw meat / vegetables and a staple fish food, the best was sinking pellets for pond fish.
4) Keep away from any areosols / air fresheners of course, if the tank is open topped
5) Keep an eye on it's fluffy gills - they indicate it's health, fluffy and big mean healthy, short and flaky means somethings wrong
