its ok mate took me a while to understand the whole genetics thing . welcome to RFUK

basicly what it means is if u breed a normal which would be a dominent Allele to a morph which is a n abnormal allele when they breed the babies will apear normal but will have the abnormal allele so when you breed the abnormal to another abnormal or a morph of the same of the het the apperence will be of the morph.

hope this helps mate

het is short for Heterozygous, very simply it means 1

All genes come in pairs, some morphs such as albino need both genes in a pair to be albino to look albino. If on one gene is albino the animal will look normal. This is known as a het albino.

There is a whole genetics section with some very good information.
