Default damp orcid bark

hello guys im awaitig delivery of my bosc baby, but tought i would turn my viv on fo a few days to ensure everything works fine and tht basking and ambient temps were fine thats all good but my orchid bark arrived quite damp and has increased humidity to 70% moderatate to tropical the guage says im trying to dry it out buy keep turing te bark over and leaving a slight gap in the door on the cool side to allow moisture to escape my viv is 6x2.5x3 with a ceramic heater on habistat pulse proportional termo, 160w powersun, 2 vents one each end and logs and bark please help as im sure this humidity is to high for a bosc many thanks

Hi it will dry out after a while anyway but depends on when you are getting the bosc if you want it to dry quicker take it all out and lay in in a open warm area very thinly it shouldnt take long

just waiting for the nigts to warm up before it is shipped, now snow has gone hoping this will be quite soon, thanks for reply

will do mate, hes a cf09 coming up to a year around april body is around 7in plus tail so should be a nice size to begin taming process then fingers crossed lol

you could allways put it in the oven for a while on a low heat that will dry it out, and them dial gauges arnt very accurate.
