Default Beardie and substrate

Hi, how long should you keep a beardie on kitchen roll? My beardie is 3 months now and I was wondering if a more interesting substrate could go down.

cheers

I've actually never used repti carpet how is it to clean? doesnt the poo get stuck in the fibres? and how about little claws, do you have any problems with them getting caught? if its worth it i might give it a wirl myself.

Don't they slide around a bit on slate?

Mines just hit 16 weeks and I believe is ready to go on sand.

No theres just enough friction with slate its good for nails too.
I don't really give my opinion on if people want to use sand or not it causes too many keyboard wars =p
