few help questions for 9mnth iguana!!!

Hi i need some tips on my new iguana viv, ive finally decided to convert a double wardrobe for his second viv as none on the market seem big enough or suitable ? Is there anything i should look out for ie ventilation etc. Also her/his claws still scratch my hands to bits even with clipping them, should i be using a certain type of nail cutters that leaves a more blunt finish or something? Also charley decided to jump from a ridiculous height yesterday and has landed and taken the whole of one of his nails off, the bleeding has stopped but now im worried about infection and what to look out for? any help would be appreciated il still research the viv before it gets made for me but would love tips from anyone on here, thanks sarah
