Additional Lighting

I am using a 12% Arcadia tube and 100w spot bulb in my 5ft vivarium. However I am worried that it isnt bright enough.

Are there any simple, cost effective ways to increase the brightness of the viv eg LEDs which people recommend?

look up aquarium lights on ebay, thier small self contained tubes at 9w etc, very bright, and under £8 delivered, thier nice and bright, i bought 9

have you tried using a reflector?

just use a couple of normal household bayonet light fittings from B&Q with energy saving lightbulbs in. Costs almost nothing, they dont give out heat but are quite bright.
