Default Are my temps and humidity right

I was just wondering if i was controlling my temps and humidity for a jungle jaguar carpet python properly. During the day its upto about 90 in the hot side and 80 in the cool end. At night they drop to about 70 hot 65 cold. Humidity goes up to 60 at night and down to 40 during the day. I run a 40 watt jungle green lamp during the day and a heat mat under a 1/3 of the viv at night. Orchid bark substrate and a branch for climbing, hide and water bowl. He's a cb11 about 4 months old and spends time half way up the tree under the fake leaves or curled up in the bark at the back of the viv and as the lights in the house fade he roams around his viv but doesn't use the hide. Ive got 2 thermometers 1 hot side 1 cold side and a hydrometer in the viv and the bulbs on a stat.

sounds fine, though carpets don't need anything other than room humidity,ie no need to spray or anything

Ive been advised to lightly spray with warm water daily. I suppose i've been doing 3 squirts from an atomiser on the branch and fake leaves so it drips on orchid bark i've not actually sprayed the bark.
