Cheers simon. What set-up do you keep yours in? I started of with two young crabs but one died a few weeks ago and looking to rehouse the remaining wee dude i have left.

I use a 150 litre rub with mesh top. Lots of sand, some banked up as land access. Plastic plant to hide under. 4" of water filtered with an external tetratec EX700 and heated to 28c with external inline heater. Tub is lit with 72 White LEDs.

Mine is a large male and gets fed on hikari crab cousine, fruit, veg, nuts, dried insects, rabbit royal, frozen prawns, mussel and squid rings.

From what I know they rarely do well when kept together.

What kind of sand do you use? Could playsand be used?
I had them seperate but need the remaning guy moved into a bigger tub even tho he's still quite small.
