My Dexter the Lab (but he is yellow)

I got Dex from someone who could no longer keep him - he was 5 months old when he joined the family - he is ten months now

He is about 9 months in the first few pics getting younger as they go down

Hope you like him - he is proving to be an excellent dog, almost ready to start competition obedience and proving to be a good potential worker (according to our trainer) so far too - once he is older and hip and elbow scored we will start agility - he will also work in harness with the sled dogs for fun

I would like to do some work with him - we have a gundog trainer and so far she is very impressed with him - especially because he is 100% show lines and I think she has seen some dogs of show lines with no drive or working instinct at all - he is certainly a good fun dog

that is impressive it is very rare for 100% show to have the drive maybs some hiden working lines somewere back

I have a choc lab bitch that is a great beating dog and everyone is always surprised as normally they dont have the drive but she loves it

Thanks - he is a sweetie - or he was until he got into the hen shed and ate all their dinner this morning LOL, they were pecking his legs and he just carried on scoffing!!!
