Default Even more fosters

Just picked a mum and two adult sons up today. This brings our total fosters to 11 at the moment (the other 8 all have homes lined up thank God!).

I only got asked to take these this afternoon, got a text off an old friend on the way to uni and an acquaintance of hers needed them gone today. So went straight after uni to pick them up.

Mum has had a few litters by the looks of things, and will stay here til I'm certain she's not pregnant. She is gorgeous. Both boys are very scared but handleable, the black hooded is now being treated for a minor snotty beak. All need a damn good feed but will be fine soon.

Mummy

Her sons.

Thank you very much - anyone would've done the same though considering. Just hope I can find them a lovely new home.

Well, they say you learn something every day, we've today learned that the two boys in the pics above seem to be going through drug withdrawal. Please think of them while they get better. At least it helped us pick their names - they are now Mick (roan) and Keith (hooded). Mummy Mymble is so far unaffected, although we are watching her closely.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the messages about these fellas. They are more restful today but we will be taking it day by day. Obviously until they are recovered, they will stay here. I will be eventually looking for an exceptional and understanding pet home for them. More pics when they've recovered a little more.

I'm hoping to get some more photos of these lads towards the weekend. Only one reply on here? I thought they were lovely.

They are so cute and at least now they are in safe hands where they will be loved and cared for until they get through this and find a permanent loving home

Thanks you two - Mick and Keith have been struggling with their withdrawal and therefore haven't been very well, so it means a lot that some people here do care! We just have to ride it out and hope there aren't any permanent effects, as that would obviously effect their chance of being homed. If they have permanent health problems from this they will probably remain here, which means I can't help as many in future, so with that and their happiness and health in mind I am very much hoping they don't have any.
