Gorgeous cats, but what's wrong with the tabby's eye? Has she lost it, or is it sore - cos she's keeping it closed?

Lucie the tabby had her eye removed a few weeks back due to injury. she does fantastic without it though, her paw-eye co-ordination is better than some of the others!

Aw bless her! Cats are extremely adaptable. I had a kitten who developed a corneal ulcer when she was about 12 weeks old - after months of trying to save the eye, we finally had to remove it. She spent over 2 months wearing an Elizabethan Collar and could outrun and outjump her sister through a hole in one of their playdrums that was barely wider than the collar!
