I was gutted when I found this thread and couldn't see any photos! At least i could see the videos.

The photos of him in the snow are superb!

I have a total love of all hounds, but the big ones just take my breath away every time I look at one. I thought long and hard between a Borzoi, Saluki and Afghan Hound many years ago and chose the Afghan. Then I bought another one which I showed from a puppy.

You are right they are very different to other dogs and certainly have a need to run!
