yeh definately, sometimes they search for days, and if it is no set ups then its not an easy job, I suppose alot of it is knowing what sort of habitat to look in, boomslangs and certain mambas would probably be the easiest to find as they spend alot of time off of the ground, others like Bitis species would be harder, as they are lazy anyway and being ambush predators I doubt you see them on the move much.

yeah i was searching for a Puff Adder more than anything! But where they hide i do not know, because i turned over every giant palm leaf, log, etc in my hunt and only found lizards and colubrids
