Default Hedgie Pic

This young man is Perseus. Yes, he is having a wee in the lower picture but still managed to look great for the photo. He was infested with mange mites when I took him due to bad husbandry skills & lack of knowledge but is on the mend now. What a little cracker. Look at that face and tell me you are not in love.

I have noticed the massive surge in APHs and it is rather alarming to be honest. I was the first breeder in southern Ireland many many moons ago and now sooooooooo many people do it. How long have you been into hedgies?

Pah woman LOL

the how long i have been in hedgehogs...............is

I have only just got into hedgehogs as i have always had an interest in them and decided to take the plunge and get one

Yes i would like to breed in the future and NO! it will not be for profit it will be to add to my own herd...........

so yes i am considering buying in more hoglets

So this isnt something i have got into for profit its a hobby to me as well as my dogs

Loved Hedgies since our Sanctuary have been carers for our native hedgehogs.Wanted an APH for ages and got one last week. Yes I will get more in the future but if I do breed it will be for my own pleasure. Cool Bluey is it yours. Mine is a male but Im not sure which species he is.Very orange underneath with irregular stripes on his back.I think hes missing a wife as he keeps mating his food dish
Emma I thought my joke was very good TAN Emma is actually a very nice person and her hedgies will get the best of everything and anything she does is always for the benefit of her pets and not for any profit.

LOL, I can see you guys are nuts. I rescue too. Been doing the europeans since forever. Yes the bluey is mine, I have the most smashing female of breeding age and have been looking for a good male. The one I had with her almost killed her last year so no babies. I must send pics. She is a smooth scale and the most lovely face. Also a poss cross due to irrigural banding but man she is a smasher.
