Default good luck Mia!

Our rat Mia is going in for her 2nd op soon for a tumour near her groin. it was in the same place as the last time when she had it done a few months back. she came thru it ok luckily and its the only thing shes ever had wrong with her. shes getting on a bit now, poor girl, but shes strong. she is happy, and still loves food! fingers crossed for little Mia!

thanx everyone. i hope she will be ok.my male rat Blinky will now need to go too, cos hes sneezing loads, his eyes look abit red, he does this jump thing just before he sneezes and his breathing is very noisy. im really worried about that too now cos ive lost many to that.he is still eating fine.he is such a big softie..he loves head rubs.they are going to the vets friday and i requested the best vet there who did all the ops on my rats before.so now its good luck 4 Blinky too. how much were your ops Cam?

oh and also can rats have a little bit of cheddar cheese? and will this be ok in their current conditions? ive been told a little bit of dark choc will help them when they have respitory infections? not milk, or white choc?i know they cant have much of all this stuff cos they are lactose intolerant and their choc drops dont contain real choc, but dont see how it would help anyway. poor Blinky, i know how bad and annoying a cold can be. i hope he doesnt have the sore throat etc too that goes with it.
