Update on kittens

We moved the kittens downstairs on Friday along with mum, she seems so much happier being downstairs with them, she can have all her cuddles and attention and is fine with the dogs and other cats around. The kittens are starting to eat, we came home from the vets armed with milk suppliment, syringes and bottles but the kittens werent having any of it so are now eating warmed cooked chicken (they go bonkers for the stuff, I cant cook enough at the moment!!) and kitten food mushed up with some warm milk suppliement. They get regular visits from mum throughout the day and she gets shut in there if we go out and at night, and she doesnt make a noise, just gets comfy for the night and gets some rest.

Bought the kittens some toys to play with and they love them, they are so cute playing with them! Have also laid off the nail cutting too and they are due to be wormed later on today.

Mum is all confused as to why the males arent interested in her this time around, she spends ages tarting with them and they just look at her! They have all been done now so no risk of any kittens unless she gets out which she seems a little determined to do at the moment so we are being extra careful. Vet recommended spaying her when the kittens are 12 weeks so hopefully we dont have too much longer of this behaviour as feel so sorry for her!!
