Default Bunny!

I've been thinking about it for awhile now, I havent had one since I was 9 and I just wanted another. So at the end of next month I shall be buying a rabbit hutch and everything else I am going to need for my new bunny.

I will be using pets at home...can't find a good place that does two story hutches for cheap, found a few on Ebay but they are either too small or don't have legs. So I'm forking out £109.99 for a blooming two story hutch for a rabbit I aint got yet.

I am hoping my fiance is going to help me pay for it then I can pay him back when I save up.

I shall be wanting a lovely boy rabbit, at the end of next month maybe the begining of september. If any one has one, and is willing to drop off then give us a shout

I live in a small town called guisborough in the north east UK. I would like pics of any rabbits you have for sale as well as a price and if you can hold it for me I will be glad to buy

Any who yeah Im well excited. I've been selling a few snails to save up for a bunny and also to make room in my bedroom xD its a small room and the snails and cat are taking my space

sorry im blabbing on...just excited

Awww bless, she abit grumpy towards people?

I've just seen a five foot hutch in ebay, its a two story hutch so plenty of room for him to run around. Just need to get mike to ask his mom to order it for me.

We owe her alot any way so one more thing can't be bad *tee hee*

I want it before it sells. that way I can come straight off holiday and get myself a bunny.

i built my bunny runs myself and i highly recommend building the hutch yourself, it costs a fraction of the price and you can build it to the exact specifications you want!!!

i personally also recommend nuturing, others won't but it calmed my male down no end, he turned very nasty as he was maturing, picking fights with anyone and anything that moved!!!

I've got this hutch on ebay, I'm rubbish at making things myself

Also I will be getting him done, I will get his injections done first and ask the vets how much they charge for a bunny so I know in advance. Will be ordering the hutch tonight allthough the bunny I wont be getting till i come back from my holiday

Saying that though, I had a female and every one said to get females done because they become monsters allthough I had mine for 5 years just about and she was always lovely.

Down here it costs about £50 to get rabbits neuterd, I presume it would be the same where you are.

Around £50-£60 seems to be the common price for a bunny to be neuterd. We have eight bunnies in which all but one we got from a rescure/rehoming centre. Personally I would not get one from P&H as I do not support breders, esp as there are so many unwanted rabbits that needs rehoming. For housing we brought two very large dog kennels which gives loads of space to move around. I would recommend attaching a big run to your hutch as well.

Check out rabbits united forum for great advice etc

This is a pic of our french lop

your frenchie is very much like mine.

i'm thinking of getting me rescue bunny neutered, i've asked advice here about her & it was recommended to get her 'done'.

i've also had quite a few rescues, i bought my frenchie from a breeder coz i've always wanted one. the only other bunny i've bought was my first mini lop & she was from pets at home. i know a lot of people don's like PAH but i was happy with the conditions the buns were kept in & the staff were helpful so go & have a look & see if you're happy with everything. my lop lived to a ripe old age & was lovely her whole life (wasn't spayed), she passed away last year & even my parents were upset by her death. she's buried in their garden next to the family's golden retriever.

Ok, this is the hutch I have just ordered.
5ft Double T&G Rabbit Hutch on eBay, also, Rabbits, Pet Supplies, Home Garden (end time 12-Jul-08 12:08:28 BST)

I don't really like P@H because most of their animals die within a few weeks, alot of friends have told me not to get them..plus its like £30 for a bunny.

£50-£60 isnt that bad I will be able to afford that.

Your bunnie is alot like my old one, i love the colour

Don't worry, I will get a run soon but I'm getting a harness and the garden is well fenched off and pathed in most area's. Will try and get a pic so you can see it
