I used to have 3 and my friend has 13 as she breeds and shows. The humping is a dominance thing which will eventually stop and the playfighting................well I have a 6 month old Rottie and a 9 month old mongrel and from dusk to dawn they wrestle and chase until they collapse in a heap. Just a puppy thing I think. Enjoy their energy as they are not puppys for long, and referee their activities if need be(I say firmly ENOUGH when it gets to rough)

My GSD is 2 years old now, and my Border Collie is 4 years old - they have grown out of humping each other, but they still play fight a lot.

Remember that the GSD has the longest childhood of any dog - taking a good 3-5 years to mature mentally

LOL nah as said its a dominace thing

i have 6 dogs here and the oldest is nearly 3 husky x mal he still thinks he is a tiny pup too lol

i have fits of giggles with all mine sloping down in age from him being near 3 to the youngest being just 7 months old i have conga lines form around the room they always stop just before i manage to get phone onto cam mode

I will get that pic one day lol

As christy said german shepherds along with huskies an mals seem to think they are puppies alot longer than that of some other breeds of dogs lol trust us to pick them breeds hey haha

play fighting is something all of mine do too its like a puppy grand prix round my house allday lol but like shell said i am always there too to say a firm Enough!! when they get too rough

its common sense really and knowing your dogs and their boundries as in how far each can be pushed before they get annoyed lol

sorry for the essay
