Default Collie Help

Right my border collie was put down yesterday and the other one just seems real confused. We're fussing him at the moment but he still isn't right. Took him for a walk just now and normally he canes it off and waits at roads for you to catch up. Today he just stayed next to me and wouldn't run until I did.

Anything i can do?

im very sorry to hear about your loss.
its quite normal for your remaining dog to be pining. he will miss the company and the confidence he had being one of that doggy friendship.
dogs do rely on each other for friendship as they understand each other far more than we understand them.
He will hopefull get over his loss soon, but he needs time to grieve too.
i have known dogs to not recover from losing their friends, and the owners have had to get him/her a new doggy friend, but this might not be the case.
Give him time, good luck and may your other dog R.I.P.

Well you for start . As to backbone, I think I've had enough running battles on here of which you are al too aware. If the cap fits wear it. Maybe a nice SS one.

Happy New Year to all, May 2009 be a good year.
