Default Rat names

hello
I have just got 2 new rats to join my white rat Ellie.
They are 1 black/grey rat with a white tum and another pale ginger rat - totally forgotten what Saxon told me the proper colours but shes going to email them to remind me.

They need cool names...help me!

The little black one is a mismark black berkshire satin carrying RB (satin rex) and pearl, from a RB father to a pearl mother, the other one is a little silver fawn self carrying hairless and hooded.

The Brain is the father to the silver fawn and the mother is a silver fawn self I have. Both are top eared.

I have a program to do pedigree's with so I'll send you a copy of them when I have the time.

A rat can't carry hooded *wink* The gene for hooded is on the same allele as self... If there is two copies of the dominant hooded gene, the rat will be a hoodie, one copy makes them a berkshire, and no copies of the dominant gene makes them a self

Well her aunties were hooded then........

Never have been an expert with genes.
Mind you it's good to know how they get their markings.

Was only messin' with ya, Dawn I know some people "get" genes, whereas others just don't... It's one of those things that I pick up very easily.
