Default Slug Infestation!!!

Hi, Me And My Family Were In the garden today,
and we saw about 50 slugs.
They were in the plant pots, tortoises weeds and on the ground.
my mum is frightened of them so wants them gone.
How do we get rid of them
All help appreciated.

put a dish of beer down they luv the stuff and get so sloshed the dont mind drowning

Pick them up and remove them. At my parents I send my kids out with a tub and see who can collect the most

Here, I have loads of hedgehogs and they keep the numbers down well.

I wouldn't use slug pellets, cuz it harms other animals, as well... Like hedgiehogs.

i have a slug eating plant, don't laugh it's true. that's almost stopped the wee beasties getting to my petunias. or a beer trap works wonders. get a tub or 2, fill with beer & bury so the top of the tub is flush with the ground. slugs love beer & will drown in it.

your mum might not want to be the one that empties it though.
