Default budgies

iv got 2 female budgies and was wandering whether it would be ok to put a single male in or would they need a male each???

If you plan on breeding them then two male Budgies would be better so they can choose and each have a mate!

i kept two females and one male and they were fine.

~Yeah two females and one male would be fine unless you are going to breed - its two males and one female that is a definate no no!!!

One male should be fine (& very happy! hehe) with your 2 females. Just dont give them a nest box if you dont want problems with breeding.
