Ive been reading quite a bit on fungal ear infections just lately, dont ask me why but im quite boring and had nothing better to do.
fungal ear infections apparently are a reoccuring problem in dogs some breeds of cats and of course people. vets and doctors prescribe those that have these fungal ear infections with antifungal sprays and such like, but often those that are prone to them keep having the problem reoccur. ok heres the thing....... whilst reading up on these problems 7 out of 10 sites visited on possible treatments actualy suggested a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to be used to rinse out the ear. The reason being is that the acid in the vinegar makes the PH level unlivable for the fungus and kills it off. ok now the question..has anybody heard of this before or has anyone tried it for themselves or their pets? And what were the results?

not that specifically. but we use slightly acidic ear cleaners for these types of infections. Downside is if the ear is very inflamed, the acidity (even if mild) can be quite stingy!
