Default I didn't expect to be a grandma!

I bought a hamster a week a go from the Mill garden center.
A cute little fur ball, very vocal but enjoyed being fussed..

I went to feed her last night, putting her on my lap to give her a fuss and the next thing she popped a baby out on me!

I looked in the cage and there were five more! Although she half ate one of them so i'm the proud grandma to give fuzzies.

I can't wait to see their colours, see what the father was like.. was a bit of a suprise, though!

[pics coming soon!!]

Well, Hardly likely to know are they. Hamsters are only pregnant for 16 days for a start.
And well, not many petshops have the ability to sex adult animals, let alone babies. So more than likely, they had a litter of brothers and sisters together. They get older and CAN breed from 5 to 6 weeks old age.

madness, I don't really mind because it's not causing me any bother by her having them. Plus they're really cute...
