what to ask when buying a chinchilla?

going to get my first chinchilla tomorrow!
i've done loads of research so i know how to look after them and the person im buying it from is also selling me the cage and accessories.

however im sure im overlooking questions to ask her, but my mind is blanking.

i know its male, 3 years old, quite tame, and there getting rid of it for financial reasons.

so.....what info have i not thought to ask?

Do they know the background ie are his parents still healthy?

How long have they had him?

What food is he being fed ie what pellets, pet shop or Charnwoods etc?

Is he used to coming out of his cage?

Does 'quite tame' mean he is used to being handled?

What type of hay is he fed?

Does he have a favourite type of chew toy?
