Henrys Tale
My mum popped last week to say that my niece had picked up a 9wk old boxer/mastiff cross puppy. Turns out it aggravated her asthma and she can't keep it blahblahblah. Breeder won't take it back (she's had the pup less than 24hrs. 
It just happened that my friend was here and he offered to take him and until he could be found a permanant home. So I offered to put an ad up here and he said no he would make sure the pup was ok first. Then he told me that he might have a nice home lined up, but it fell through. He came round last night with his toy poodle pup and the rescue pup in tow, he has been to the vets and had him vaccinated, he has called him Henry, his family have fallen in love with him and it looks like he is staying.
So he went from 'it's not my sort of dog' to I love him in 4 days so now there are 6. His little toy poodles and Shih-tzu love big Henry, the lab will love having a big playmate to rough house with and his old collie just sighs and says whatever.
Don't you love a story with a happy ending - nice one Rob!
