Default colour varieties needed (rat and gerbils)

got a rat that im not sure which blue she is...not going to breed her just curious so i can say exactly want she is when people adore her lol

also i got three gerbils and im wondering what colour they are classed as... the white one im sure is just a pink eyed white but not sure about the grey ones...again not breeding but would be interested to know either way.thanks in advance

pinkeyed white (i think)


greyish spot headed one


lighter greyish one

Can you get pics of the rat from the front? She looks like a husky/roan to me, but without seeing her face it's hard to tell. She could be hooded.

Tell you a great site for ids:
Hawthorn Rat Varieties

Have a look on there and see what matches

checking a site for the gerbils its a right pain trying to work it out lol

im rubbish at defining shades lol just had a look at the blue rat i think shes a british blue im realllly bad at the subtle differences tho lol...i think the spot is a lilac

i THINK ive got a lilac spot and a dove...its the lighter one thats puzzling me...going to join a gerbil forum see what they think..thanks for the links , lisa
