went to crufts today and my god how empty was it? I dont know if its the recession or the whole BBC thing but it was dead. Also it was weird not having pedigree their couldnt get a free drink and chocolates from the breeders lounge lol.

How did everyone do who was showing?

Anyone who is showing can't leave until 5pm... Unless things have changed. Having said that alot of people do sneak off early! I never did!

Shame it was so quiet today, though the exhibitors will probably be quite happy about that. Normally it is so packed at the weekend that you can't move. Hope it is due to the credit crunch and not the damn BBC and its one sided rubbish program

I haven't bothered with showing this last year, so didn't qualify for this years Crufts.... I shall have to have a look and see how all my friends did later on though

i went yesterday and it wasn't heaving, but that was good 4 me as i didnt have to queue, (excpet the loo's) or worry with barging past with the buggy etc.
No 'freebies' this year tho... but loadsa pennies spent!!

i was showing my Gordon Setter and He won his class, bet 20 Dogs in the Limit class, a great acheivement for us both, am so proud of my wee manie!

I was there too and although it seemed quiet early on I didn't think it was quieter than usual as the day progressed ...
