Smile suggestions for puppy [small dog]

Hi,
I am looking to get a puppy, [small size dog] I do not mind if it is a cross breed ...it would need to get on with other dogs and cats [my sister has a dog and cat and I sometimes look after then when they go on holiday].....

So I was just wondering if any of you have any suggestions of what I could get ?? [ I am home all day and have a huge garden]

You really can have most most breeds or crosses you want if you are getting a puppy. Just make sure you introduce it to your sister pets while young and also as many other friendly cats/dogs as you can. Cavalier king charles spaniels are nice laid back little dogs but make sure you go to a breeder that does health tests. Lots of rescued puppies needing homes so you shouldnt have a problem. Good socialisation/training is the key. Good luck

Any of the smaller breeds should be fine. I have 2 Cavaliers and they are friendly with everything just be aware of the problems you can get if the parents arent health tested though. There are lots of nice small breeds about. Keep us updated and of course dont forget pics when you get your new puppy which ever breed you choose

Where abouts are you?

You could possibly try your local rescues.

Unless your willing to travell as there are a couple of rescues in Wales who take in and rehome ex puppy farm dogs and puppies. They do have foster homes all over the country though.
