Well if anyone has read the Melton thread you'll know we went to the auction. Ditta was adament we werent gettin anything...... until she saw the polish frizzles, we fell in love with 3 hens but got outbid as we werent willing to spend £90 on 3 so we went for our second choice, which we both just love, and Ditta was worse than me! i was too nervous to bid cos i knew if i wanted it i would bid n bid and bid! if i had been biddin for the polish we'd have had them whatever the cost! Ditta kept leavin me at out lot and runnin down the other end to find out what kinda money they were goin for

anyway, we met someone who wanted a cock but not the 2 hens, which was perfect as we only wanted hens so we joined forced and bid for these guys which we got. One hasnt got her head feathers as i think shes been gettin jiggy with the cockrel, so will be a bonus if we hatch any babies seen as we didnt get a cock
anyway here they are, our gold silkies French and Saunders. Theyre in a flexarium at the minute for a bit of sun and fresh air until their outdoor pen has been constructed by Ditta

we cant cos cocks are a bit too noisy for round where we are. We have however had our first egg layed this monring and i think Saunders has been mate with so will see over the course of the week what we get and incubate, so may have some babies, though how willing ill be to part with them i dont know
