chinchilla help

hi

my chinchilla billy is making some really odd noise at night it sounds like his snoring its really loud it a screeching noise it sounds a bit like a party streamer he is happy and healthy within himself and is eating and drinking fine had him out this morning and he ran around fine any ideas ????

sounds like he might have a cold honey i would take him to the vet just incase

thank you somebody else has said that it may be a warning noise its really odd he has not really done it again or i have got used to it in my sleep !! i might pop him down there just incase thankyou x

i still say hes snooring all mine snored but between 4 of them they wasnt even half as loud as him

is it like repeated short bursts? like once per second? Is it extremely loud? They do that when frightened.
