Default sugar glider or not to sugar glider?

well i've been reading up and alot of caresheets say they need alot of attention, could any owners please inform me of how much attention they do need? or how much time do you spend with yours? i'm not planning to get one soon but would be looking about 6months to 12months into the future.

I have two unrelated females and they are awesome. Really nice animals, I have had them for a months now and they get tamer and tamer. They do need attention the more the better but they are also pretty independant. I would recommend them but would say that the cage size is important. They are very active and love to climb and play, dont be fooled into thinking that as small animals they can do with small cages. My cage is 2x3x4 and they use every inch.

And you MUST get more than one. They are very social and get stressed pretty easily. If you are interested in learning about them, please have a look on www.sugar-glider.co.uk/forum. Feel free to join and ask any questions you may have.
