Default Bullmastiff puppies/breeders

I am looking for a female bullmastiff puppy for my brother, does anyone know of any breeders around the sussex area, can travel but no further than 3 hours out of sussex, or anyone with puppies, reason for puppies is that they rescued a bullmastiff from NCDL, which was recently put down after suffering from cancer, which has knocked my brother for 6!they would like a puppy so they can bring her up from a baby.I have looked all over the internet with no luck!!

Get in touch with Bullmastiff rescues too though, as there are plenty of rescue pups. So many people take them on not thinking of how big they get or how much hard work they are (they really are bloody hard work as pups despite what people will tell you about them being low energy, which is rubbish). Our Dharma is a rescue bullmastiff, we got her at just under 5 months old, so still a small baby. It took her til this last year to grow out of puppyhood, she's always been like a kangaroo on acid. I remember someone saying to us "When they get to a year old it's like they've been hit over the head with a brick". Was a load of rubbish, she's always been VERY high energy.

you are unlucky or lucky depending how you feel about having a high energy dog! our bully is just over a year old and we joke about her acting like a O.A.P

According to the vet, we're very lucky as she is physically much much fitter than most bullmastiffs. Then again I've kept her lean, so many people stupidly bulk them out into overweight unfit animals with terrible joints in the rush to get them as heavy as possible. Dharma is at the top end though after being laid up - she's 53kg and on a diet at the moment as she is getting older - I'm hoping to get her down to a much healthier 45kg.
