Default 2nd foster cat!

I've just picked up my second foster cat of this week, she is a pregnant queen and is expecting in about 3 weeks! Very excited, never had a pregnant queen before!

Any tips are greatly appreciated!

We're thinking of calling her cocoa, what do you think?

She's very scraggly and needs a good brush lol xx

Poor scruffy mama!! No lady likes looking like that. I'm sure she'll feel much better after a wash and a good brushing!!

Poor girl. Shes very beautiful though and I would say one of her parents could have been pedigree

Ive been fostering cats for about 30 years(including many pregnant ones) so any questions feel free to ask. Many years ago I also bred Siamese so Ive kittened many a cat.

Bless, she looks all scruffy!... Bet she will feel better after a good brush, and has put a bit of weight on.. She is beautiful though, I had a pregnant cat a few years ago, and i fed her Kitten food... Do you know her story.. or is it a case of a stray??

GET A CRATE ....... thats my advice. Kittens are lovely until they start walking

We had a foster cat a couple of years back, she gave birth to four beautiful kittens but boy did we make a mistake of letting them have the run of the flat. They ruined everything.

Will try and dig out some pics but i think Jon has put them all on the external hard drive which is hooked up to the PS3 at the moment

If you havent had kittens before it is one of the most amazing experiences you will have ... but lets hope she only has one or two, lol

Lol yes she looks so scruffy, the organizer said we should call her tatty! She is the most friendliest cat though!

I was also thinking that she looks very oriental. Awesome Shell, if i come across a question i know where to go! For starters, what would u recommend i feed her during pregnancy and after, and how much should i be feeding her?

She's just another stray, think she might have been for a while though looking at her lol. I've heard the kitten food thing before, is that good?

Well she's been scanned and she's having around 4-6, and she is the tiniest adult cat i've ever seen. Her belly is huge and she still has 3/4 weeks to go. Will try get a pick later. She's in her own private room with vinyl flooring lol so dont worry about them ruining anything! xx

what else?
If she isnt already on it i would put her on kitten food from now on, biscuits and meat. Not only is it higher in protien but it makes it so much more easier when weaning the kittens if she is eating the same food as what your trying to get them to eat.

Blimey im so excited for you

I'd love to foster a cat or dog but the landlord says no !!!

Good on you for looking after her.
