Default is it time to let Escarla go?

Recently Escarla has gone down hill even more her walking is non exsistent and is just dragging her legs, her eye sights isnt great either and she needs her back end cleaning constantly! I know she is only 8 weeks old but I dont know wherther it is fair to put her through having operation after operation without a defient possitive outcome. What would you do? Also I hate leaving her alone during the day, yes with other kittens and her 'adopted' mum but she is slower and more delicate.

I don't think anyone can tell you the right thing to do. You will know when the time is right.
All I can say is that life at any cost isn't always the right way to go. Sometimes the best thing you can do for an animal is to end their suffering in as painless and dignified a manner as possible. I know it's hard to let go - and you want to fight - but sometimes once the animal has nothing left within it to fight you will know you are getting nowhere.
Does your vet think that she has a good chance? Or are you just hoping against hope?
You will know when the right time to let her go is and I am sure it will be in her best interest.
I am so sorry you have to go through this - especially with one so young.
Best of wishes - for you and Escarla.
x

If the only help for her would be operations then I think it would be kinder to let her go. What has the vet said? Maybe get a second opinion.

I agree with Angela too!

I have to say that if it was my kitten, I would put her quietly and peacefully to sleep. What lies ahead for her is a huge amount of stress and pain and cats just don't handle stress very well at all.

There's an 11 week old kitten on another thread with a broken leg, but the anaesthetic appears to have triggered off a viral attack, very likely due to the stress of the vet visit etc.

Sometimes the "where there's life there's hope" feeling isn't the right one!

I also feel too that its not always right to play god

if this was a person then they would have no choice but to suffer!

But with our animals we have the option to help them end their suffering and be at peace

I know its going to be one of the hardest choices you ever have to make but im sure you will make the right one for her
