yes you get papers with pedigree cats, the rules are a bit different tho, kitties have to be at least 12 weeks old and fully vaccinated before they go to new homes.

i have ragdolls and british, thereslots of peeps with cats on here,
have a look on
www.breedersonline.co.uk or www.kittenlist.co.uk at all the different breeds.

the blue longhaired cat you want, what about a british varient? every now and again british blues have a fluffy baby that isnt short haired.
they are very cute, but not as hairy as a persian.

or maine coons , weegies & siberians all come in blue and are hairy

thats a british shorthair variant in the uk, are registered but cant be shown, they are throwbacks to when persians were put into the lines to up the numbers when they were low.

my british girl carries longhair and has them.

i think it'll be just a pet for me , my mum will be showing hers . id just like a big fluffy blue cat , i do like persians
we wont be getting any till next year when we'v moved as my neighbors got 6 now but 6months ago they had 1 stolen not sure what it was but it was white with a ginger striped tail and ears
i wouldnt cope if anyone took any of ours , but since the people know its next door to get cats its not worth risking having one at the moment

Were the ears of the cat that was stolen ginger, or was it ginger on the top of his head, because that sounds like it might have been a Turkish Van.

Siamese and British/Persians are at opposite ends of the spectrum as far as temperament and personality go. You need to be aware that Siamese/Oriental cats are very loud and very demanding, whereas British and Persian cats are much quieter in nature and nowhere near as demanding.

Bengals also fall into the category of demanding vocal cats too and are know to drive a lot of their owners mad with their demands, so not a cat for the faint hearted or a cat novice who doesn't know what they're taking on.

Totally agree, but it does happen! That's why I won't let my cats go out.
