She must be confident when she picks them up and make sure they have full tums before handling.
I use bitter apple for persistant biters let them bite the back of the hand then let them bite it again with bitter apple where they will bite they will think twice next time. Tell her to also get them used to taking some ferretvite or ferretone from her when she has hold of them so they get used to being held and getting nice stuff. When they bite she also needs to tell them no and hiss like mam ferret would, I don't believe in hitting or flicking the nose it makes them hand shy.

what i do is put mince in my hand and let them eat it iv never been biten by any doing this -this may help her trust them ?
handle every day i let mine run around my room , iv been biten a few times but there babies so , its a learning process maybe get her to buy a ferret book , i rread throu 1 briefly at a book shop about ferret body language lol like how they in invite you to play -i fort it was guner attack me lol good luck |
