If you can go an extra £22 the explorer is well worth it (there is only 2 big-ish faults about them, the trays are shallow and made of plastic so if your boys are chewers you may need to replace them, though the depth is easily sorted) or the adobe, the happy house or the tower are both good value for the money and will comfortably house two boys, most of them will fit more Pet World Direct - Rat Chinchilla and Other Cages

Freddy 2's are quite a size for 2 adult rats.

Ive just bought a Freddy 2 off ebay for £35 ( pretty much brand new!!) they cost around £80 at pet at home.

Now i have 2 Freddy 2's and one explorer

How the heck do you get on with freddies?!

I hated mine, didn't like the size for my two boys and could barely fit anything in it, and even when I did it was a pain to get them back out again to clean.

LOL I think they are great for 2 bucks, in mine ive got 2 shelfs, a hammock, few parrot toys ladder, a igloo type bed a ball witha bell in that ment for cats.

I dont even need to reach into grab the rats because as soon as i open the cage door they are out lol.

I've got my 2 rattie boys in a Tom Rat Cage and I'm more than happy with it. Great Deals on Small Animal Cages at Zooplus: Tom Rat Cage

I bought mine on ebay for £52 from Zooplus, because it had a couple of shelf brackets missing. They sell returned stock on ebay, but you buy it knowing it might have something missing or broken, but they do tell you what the problem is in the auction so you know what you're bidding on.

My cages are all aviary types now.

I usually pick them up on ebay or the adtrader for less than £50 each.
They are rather large though so I partition them off into two for smaller groups.

I'd love FN's or explorers but I dont' have space for those.
