Spoken to someone on the phone but wanted to know if anyone was on here worked there as i want to apply for rehoming 2 dogs, but how do go about telling a stranger who has probably had more than enough of time wasters that someone with 5 dogs already can offer more dogs a fab home, its all about that first phone call, and i do not want to blow it by coming across like a fool

Tell it how it is. Not all rescues are against prospective homes having other dogs

i will telll it how it is as i know no other way i am afraid i left a message so hopefully telling it how it is has not made me look like a nutjob....just very excited at the prospect of being able to rehome 2 more needy dogs but not wanting to be judged because i have more than 2 we have room and the finances to insure and feed and can provide a healthy lifestyle for them, its just getting that across in the minute ot 2 it will usually take for the other person to decide if i am worth listening to or not

i live a breathe my dogs thats it for me i love nothing more not into shoes or shopping or going out..... just dogs and studying dogs and then theres dogs walking dogs training, playing, dog toys......arrgghh i best shut up....

yes i have a homecheck booked...i think thats a good thing they know of all my dogs so that all good and very important to me that they are aware of this as i am very proud of my babies thay have all come such a long way i have the right to be proud and so do they but my dogs have always found me either by chance or word of mouth or recommendation i have had a homecheck before, but i knew the people, this time i am nervous as i want this so bad i want the honour of giving these girls a home and the thought of not being good enough scares mne and i would feel like i failed all my kids,
i have missed out so many time the last 2 years i almost gave up hope always being 2nd in line for dogs and never getting a look in i am hoping fate is on my side this time.....

Fingers crossed for you. You should be proud of your dogs and what you and they have acheived, you sound like a great home. Im sure if the rescue didnt think you were at all suitable they wouldnt have even bothered with a homevisit. Let me know how you get on.
