Default Info. Guinea pig from Cyprus to the Uk.

My mate is moving back from Cyprus. He's had enough and wants to sell up and come back to Manchester.
However he has his Guinea pig and due to his knowledge on how they look after animals there he is not leaving him behind.
Any info I can pass on to him about him bringing his piggie back to the UK gratefully recieved.
Thank you

Defra, UK - Animal health and welfare - Pet Travel Scheme - What you need to do - Dangerous dogs

Does that help?

This is better than the first link.

If you read it down it mentions Cyrus, it depends on which part he lives in.

nope, it's completely different for rodents, reptiles, fish etc.
Cause they don't carry Rabies.
Dogs, cats and Ferrets and currently the ones covered ( and other canid/Feline )

Yeha the link came up with dangerous dogs, but it was about rodents and rabbits, on the second link it seems like he'd be fine as long as he lives in the republic of Cyrus not north Cyprus.

Basically, as far as I can see, he just needs to find an airline company who'll agree. I doubt budget airlines will...
