They're handled multiple times a day and have been since they were 8 weeks old. They just got worse...

Excuse me if I've missed anything, but I'm too tired (And currently - too lazy) to read back through the whole thread, but how old are they and are they neutered?

ETA: Just looked back through the thread. If they aren't neutered you will be stuck with rabbits like this until their hormones are calmed, or forever. lol

nethies and minilops arnt really mental, lol, i have both breeds and they are all fine, the lops are bouncy though.

if bunnies have a lot of freedom they will go `feral` (if you think about it, wild ones live in a hole in the ground and come out at night when its dark and safe to graze)
girls are best neutered if they arnt going to be bred from so they dont have hormonal moodswings and possible uterine cancer later on.

i always think a single boy makes a better pet.

ps lilac is a dilute chocolate like this baby of my neighbours

a chocolate is a mutation of black and is recessive to it,
blue is a dilute black, and is recessive to it
& lilac is a dilute chocolate.

to make a lilac you breed a chocolate to a blue

all the babies will be black carrying choc and blue

breed two of the blacks together and their babies will be
9 blacks
3blues
3 chocolates and if you`re very very lucky
1 lilac!

i am sad rabbit genetics geek and must get out more!

That's an old pic Ann, sadly Toby is no longer with us (he was the last of my Chocolate Dutch line too). I miss my Chocs, such a beautiful colour .
