Nope.

IAMS and animal testing

And regardless of that, it really is an average food at a premium price. You can get much better for your money

My friend used to be a UK supplier of it until she found out about all the testing they use. In its day it was a good food but they changed the recipe to make it more affordable. There are plenty of excellent foods about without the need for supporting companies like these
My friend now Imports and supplies an excellent food from a company that dont support animal testing

so you have both sides of the story
Animal Research: Practices and Policies of the IAMS Company
Iams Animal Testing: Enhance the well-being of cats and dogs
my old dog had iams lamb and rice it was the only food she would eat that was back when it was expensive
im just interested is it just this sort of animal testing your against or are you against medical research too ?

i bought this before the info was out however at the end of the day back then if the info was out i would have still fed it as it was the only food meg could eat other brands made her ill
something people should remember that everything at some point will have been tested on animals your make up, shampoo etc may say not tested on animals but at some point in time the ingrediants will have been tested !

I won't touch the stuff, not after reading the leaflet i was handed at Crufts a few years back. Apparently they feed the stuff to the animals & then kill them to see what the stuff has done to them. Not good practice in my book so won't touch the stuff even if that was all i could get hold of (highly unlikely though).
