Default quails?

hi guys ive looked on a few websites and seen quails. they look so cool and aparantly they are really easy to look after. has anyone ever had quails?

i kept some quail last year but lost them to a badger,they are smart little things but some can be really noisy in the morning

ahhh, what did you keep them in? i was thinking of getting a japanese one they are so cute

Ooh post pics if you do get some. I used to have chickens, but have always wanted quails and have come so close so many times. But i cant have any yet really.
If i ever do buy some, im buying the eggs off ebay and hatching them myself! So much more fun.

yeah i was lookin at ebay, wondering if there is a cheap way to make an incubator....

i had them in a fifteen foot run with a 8x8 hut on for night time,i put lots of small branch piles in for cover..even made a hammack which they all used to sit on.

it will be lonely...a chicken coop should be ok what size..does it have a run on it

i dont know, if anything i would get a bunch of eggs and hatch them. no idea on hutches yet
