I recommend buying Ferrets For Dummies by Kim Schilling, it covers pretty much anything you could want to know about ferrets, but basic care is pretty easy. The British Ferret Club has a lot of good info. Biggest part of keeping ferrets is getting the diet right, a lot of people suggest a 100% kibble diet but from experience it is rare for ferrets to thrive on this diet.

I give a variety

They always have kibble available but they get raw eggs every 2-3 weeks and they get raw meat once a week at least. Sometimes i give beef mince and sometimes it's chicken wings/thighs/drumsticks. They really enjoy the skin and bone
