Default Cat complete food in bulk.

Does anybody buy their biscuits in bulk?

If so, what do you have, how much and where from pleeeeease?

Looking to start buying in bulk as I'm moving somewhere rural soon and don't wanna be going to the shops every few days for small bags when I could save money and buy in bulk.

My two have Go-cat at the mo, but really aren't fussy.

My boyfriends cat, Muta, has meat so doesn't have much biscuits but has Joe Jills or Go-cat, that sorta thing.

I use ASDA own brand. Always have. It works out at around 89p a kilo which is cheaper than the nasty cheap cat rings in a big 15kg sack from the feed merchants. My cats love them and do really well on them although they do have tinned twice a day too cos they is spoiled.

I used to buy Asda cheapy food but found one of my cats poo went a bit sloppy with it, so started buying the dearer stuff. Occasionally he still gets sloppy poops, so I'm now unsure it was the biccys or just the fact he drinks loads because he only gets dry food.

Contemplating giving my cats meat more regularly as of the next couple of weeks as they will start going outside for the first time once we move this week (Im crapping myself!) so I dont have to deal with as many poops in the litter tray indoors lol.

I buy sacks of JWB cat food for our three. I think it's 10kg. Works out lots cheaper buying it that way.

Never had a problem with sloppy poos here really. I don't tend to feed exclusively on biscuit though as they get tins, raw meat, culled mice, raw eggs and other bits and pieces too. It's never bothered me, emptying the litter trays. They never stink as I use the woodbased stuff and I simply scoop the poops into a large tupperware container every time I pass them which is several times a day, and the turds then get chucked on the rayburn or flushed down the loo. And I have 18 cats so a lot of litter trays and a lot of turds lol. A friend of mine only has 2 cats and apparently finds it a real chore to scoop the turds out and then wonders why the cats crap all over the house. Well if I had to 'go' on a toilet which was full of other people's turds, I wouldn't want to use it either.

Bloody hell, 18 cats worth of poo, I don't envy you lol.
I swear my cats poo about 5 times each per day, and Baby is obsessed with just going in the litter tray to scratch, half the time he does nothing so by the end of the day, I don't have wood pellets, just a mass of fine sawdust - nightmare!

I just don't find it a chore to scoop every time I go past. It's a habit for me to look whenever I go to the back door and one swift scoop and the job's done in barely 2 seconds. I keep the tupperware and scoop nest to the litter trays to make life easier.

I have 17 cats and Im forever scooping all the large hooded litter trays which are spread throughout the house(I have a lot) It is just a habit now to continually do tray checks. I also use wood litter and flush the waste down the toilet
