They look like Castors though, have bred enough Agouti's (B/G in Dutch) over the years to know one when i see one . Agouti is one of the most dominant colours along with black.

defo not casters, iv bred and showed casters and they are not them.

Mother is black otter bred from broken black otter and harlie, dad is pure bred harlie.

they are black on back with otter side burns as i call them but then the tummys are harlie marked black strippy and orangey. pics dont show it well

i got a pic of the tummy of one, but there are only a few days old, so once colour and fur has grown more il update with pics.

Quinotter is a name ive given them. there is no such thing as one.

tomorrow il take a pic of back so you can see the difference. but i like them there funky and quinotter there name shall be

Nice size kits you got there . Could turn out to be an unstandardised colour, in which case best selling on as you would risk mucking up your own line if you breed it in & they can't be shown (Otter Butterfly is an unstandardised colour). Be interesting to see what they turn out to be as they grow on a bit. Keep posting pics up please, i'm intrigued now!!!

and what colour do u think ur get from a rew & blue mating that will be new?.....nothing this is new. if you can pass me on to one person who has otter/harlie kits or adults ????

No what i keep back from this litter is just my fun side of breeding, the pure stuff stays pure, like my broken havannas and broken blacks.

This was just a mating to see if the magpie would show up but that slim chance was very very slim but ended up with these 2.

Its fun when your get surprises like these two. i wounder if they orange from the harlie side on the tummys will darken. they would look fab.

that kits the biggest kit in the litter, hmm mayb call him hogger lol if its a he that is lol

Can't be castors - both parents are non-agouti (black) based.

I've seen rabbits like this before - an accidental mating between a harlequin and a Tan - the tan markings had harlequin brindling/spotting within them.

i`ve seen it with agouti and harle matings, you occasionally get an agouti with bands of darker agouti where the harle markings are.

just looked at your website, they look like black otters with no harli markings,

where have you got the wa gene from to give you an astrex?
