Default My new colour of bunnies

Well i had a new doe a friend gave me as she produced a magpie. i tried her with my harli buck but unf she didnt produce a magpie. it was a slim shot anyways i would get one.

anyways i have a healthy litter of 4, i thought they were all black otter the day of birth. BUT looking at them today 2 are different

Iv named them QuinOtters, as they are half black otter half harlie. Only 2 are like this and il be keeping one back myself.

I know its just a mess up in gentics etc but all rabbits came to be this way. When they are older il get some pics, but ther are very funky

If i remember correctly & i'm not too hot with genetics. That you can't have 2 patterns on one Rabbit. So they will be either Harlie's or Otters. What colour were the parents? I would hazzard a guess that they are very mismarked Harlie's . Just looked on your website, if thats a pic of them on the "in the nest" page then they look like they could be Cators to me.

harlie is quite a dominant colour, also if they are still tiny and in the nest the colours can change quite a lot in the next few weeks.

for example sables look blue when they are in the nest.
